Premier League side Newcastle United has officially completed the signing of French midfielder Aladji Bamba from AS Monaco. The 20-year-old has committed to a five-year contract with the club.
Financial details indicate the transfer fee is approximately 35 million euros ($40 million), with Monaco retaining a sell-on clause for future transactions. Bamba, who is the fourth arrival for Newcastle this summer, expressed enthusiasm about joining a club with such a rich history. Bamba began his journey at Monaco in 2021, though he featured in only 25 competitive games during his tenure.
