Sharing his thoughts on social media this Friday, the former governor of Anambra State expressed immense relief that all 68 people on the flight, including passengers and crew, emerged unharmed. He praised the quick and skillful actions of the pilots and emergency staff at the airport for preventing a potential disaster.
Obi emphasized that securing human lives should be the top goal for the sector. He further insisted that the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority and the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau must perform a transparent, detailed inquiry to uncover why this incident happened.
