Joshua prepares for return to the ring with sights set on global dominance

Anthony Joshua returns to the ring in Saudi Arabia this Saturday to face Kristian Prenga, maintaining a positive mindset as he eyes a potential future matchup with Tyson Fury.

Anthony Joshua appeared upbeat during his latest media appearance in Jeddah ahead of his Saturday bout against Albanian heavyweight Kristian Prenga. The 36-year-old boxer, competing in his first match since a tragic car accident in Nigeria claimed the lives of two close associates last December, expressed a sense of renewed focus.

Joshua noted that he has been training diligently since the start of the year. While he spoke ambitiously about his desire to conquer the world, he emphasized that his immediate priority is defeating Prenga. If successful, this victory could pave the way for a highly anticipated showdown with Tyson Fury, provided Fury also secures a win in his upcoming match against Mariusz Wach.

Although Prenga enters the ring with a record of 20 knockouts, Joshua remains unfazed by the threat of being stopped. The British heavyweight displayed a notably relaxed demeanor throughout the press conference, engaging warmly with fans and media. With a career record of 29 wins, including 26 knockouts, Joshua stated he feels fully prepared for the challenges ahead. Despite persistent questions regarding a potential future fight with Fury, Joshua insisted that his complete concentration remains on the task at hand this Saturday.
