Minister Mohammed Idris claims President Tinubu’s recent economic reforms are successfully building a foundation for Nigeria’s long-term growth and fiscal stability.

Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, stated that the aggressive policy shifts by President Bola Tinubu are setting Nigeria up for enduring success by stabilizing the economy and boosting investor trust. During a meeting in Abuja with the APC Forum of Former Presiding Officers of State Houses of Assembly (FOPSHA), led by Sen. Wasiu Esinlokun, Idris emphasized the government’s commitment to national progress.

Idris pledged that state-run media outlets, including the NTA, FRCN, and NAN, would provide comprehensive coverage for the forum’s upcoming leadership meetings to ensure public awareness. Highlighting the administration’s progress over the last three years, the Minister pointed to the removal of fuel subsidies, exchange rate adjustments, and the expansion of the student loan program as essential steps toward fiscal health.

Furthermore, Idris identified significant infrastructure projects like the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway as evidence of a brighter future. He encouraged the visiting former officials to utilize their influence to help the public grasp the long-term vision of the Renewed Hope Agenda. Sen. Esinlokun confirmed that the forum remains dedicated to gathering support for the administration’s goals throughout the nation.
