Transfer Rumors: Premier League Clubs Eyeing Rashford and Defensive Moves

Top Premier League clubs are eyeing Marcus Rashford, while Nottingham Forest works on a deal for Ousmane Diomande and Ipswich closes in on Daizen Maeda.

Three major Premier League clubs are currently monitoring the situation of Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford. While Tottenham, Chelsea, and Arsenal are reportedly interested in the 28-year-old, Manchester United officials are reluctant to facilitate a transfer to a domestic rival. Meanwhile, Arsenal is keeping tabs on Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa, and Juventus is showing interest in Villa’s 33-year-old goalkeeper, Emiliano Martinez.

Nottingham Forest appears to be closing in on a deal for Sporting CP defender Ousmane Diomande, a 22-year-old international from the Ivory Coast. In other defensive news, Juventus is also targeting West Ham’s 26-year-old center-back, Jean-Clair Todibo.

Manchester United is still searching for a central midfielder but has stepped back from pursuing Brighton’s Carlos Baleba and Bournemouth’s Alex Scott due to high valuations. Despite interest from Arsenal, Bournemouth intends to retain the 22-year-old Scott, even though he has turned down a contract extension. Elsewhere, Ipswich Town has reached a preliminary agreement to sign Celtic’s Daizen Maeda for an initial fee of £8 million. Finally, Rangers and several Australian clubs are scouting Manchester United’s young full-back, James Overy.
