The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has alerted students participating in the 2026-2027 Post-UTME aptitude test to adhere strictly to rules and avoid any form of examination misconduct. In a statement released Tuesday, Registrar Mrs. Abosede Wickliffe confirmed the remote, online tests will run from July 27 to July 31.
Students are required to use laptops equipped with integrated microphones and webcams, as external devices like tablets, mobile phones, headphones, and smart glasses are banned. The test lasts 30 minutes, during which candidates must be alone in a well-lit space. Any talking, reading aloud, or presence of others is considered grounds for disqualification.
Candidates are responsible for ensuring reliable electricity and internet access, as the institution will not be held accountable for technical failures. Technical support is available via the “Need Help?” button on the exam portal. Furthermore, a mock test must be completed by July 25 to verify system compatibility, using the Safe Examination Browser on Windows 10+ or macOS Ventura+.
The university stated that the official screening fee is fixed at ₦5,500. Officials warned applicants to ignore third-party entities, such as cybercafes or business centers, claiming to represent the school. Any attempts at impersonation or fraud will result in the immediate cancellation of scores, and all institutional decisions regarding the exam process remain final.
