Former England international Katherine Sciver-Brunt will join the Trent Rockets Women coaching staff as an assistant for the 2026 season of The Hundred. Sciver-Brunt, who retired in 2023, is the second-most prolific wicket-taker in England Women’s history with 335 wickets in 267 matches. During her playing tenure, she made 19 appearances for the Trent Rockets.
Reflecting on her transition to coaching, the 41-year-old noted that returning to Trent Bridge was an easy decision given her familiarity with the team. She has spent the years following her retirement focusing on motherhood and media analysis. She will now work alongside head coach Chris Read.
The club has also bolstered its coaching ranks elsewhere. Graeme White has been named as the new fielding coach for the women’s side, while Anton Roux joins the Trent Rockets Men as an assistant to head coach Peter Moores.
