As the sole representative from Africa, he secured his place as the first artist from the continent to participate in this prestigious event.

The audience at the New York Stadium erupted as Burna Boy teamed up with Colombian superstar Shakira to deliver a high-energy rendition of ‘Dai Dai,’ the official 2026 World Cup anthem. The star-studded lineup also featured international acts such as Justin Bieber, BTS, Madonna, and Coldplay. Regarding the tournament results, Spain secured a 1-0 victory over Argentina to claim the 2026 title. The event concluded with a performance by streamer iShowSpeed, who presented his track, ‘Champions.’
