During a recent campaign visit to the Ife South Local Government Area, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke promised to prioritize further rural development and infrastructure projects if granted a second term. Adeleke emphasized that his current record of accomplishments serves as the strongest proof of his commitment to the state.
The governor was greeted by a large assembly of traditional leaders, including the Olu of Awolowo, Oba Yekinni Olayemi Olasoji Omisore, and the Olubosin of Ifetedo, Oba Akinola Oyetade Akinrera. Accompanied by Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi and other high-ranking officials, Adeleke noted that his administration has already implemented projects across every local government area.
Addressing local needs, Adeleke officially opened a three-kilometre road in Ifetedo and committed to resolving the town’s persistent electricity problems. He stated that the Ministry of Energy has finished the preliminary preparations required to stabilize the power supply. Furthermore, the governor pledged to bolster healthcare and education by hiring additional staff, a promise highlighted while he presented medical equipment donated by Yusuf Ali, SAN, to a local health facility. He concluded that his administration’s tangible results warrant the trust of the electorate for another four-year term.
