Despite Argentina’s status as the reigning titleholders from the 2022 tournament, Marcelo is backing the Spanish squad. Speaking to CBS Sports Golazo, the former Real Madrid captain emphasized his admiration for the Spanish team’s unified style of play. While acknowledging the strength of Argentina, he noted that Spain’s superior collective performance makes them his choice to lift the trophy.
