Bwala Claims Internal Conflict Plagues Obidient Movement

Presidential aide Daniel Bwala argues that the Obidient Movement is fracturing due to internal realization that the group is built on hostility rather than political substance.

Daniel Bwala, who serves as the Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Tinubu, asserted on Friday that an undeclared internal conflict is currently unfolding among followers of the Obidient Movement.

According to Bwala, participants in the movement possess a disdain for the very nation they aspire to lead, labeling the group as unpatriotic. Sharing his perspective on X, the aide suggested that many supporters are coming to terms with the idea that the movement is driven more by spite and negative rhetoric than by genuine political goals.

Bwala stated that the group frequently undermines Nigeria and its leadership. He concluded by noting that as members gain this perspective, they are increasingly distancing themselves from the organization, dismissing it as fraudulent.
