Michael Olise Aims for Real Madrid Move from Bayern Munich

Michael Olise reportedly wants to depart Bayern Munich for Real Madrid, though his club teammate Dayot Upamecano is pushing for him to stay.

According to reports from L’Equipe, French international Michael Olise is eager to exit Bayern Munich during the current summer transfer window to join Real Madrid. The 24-year-old midfielder allegedly shared his desire to move to the Spanish club with colleagues while participating in the 2026 World Cup.

Olise has reportedly been seeking insights from Real Madrid players Kylian Mbappe and Aurelien Tchouameni regarding life at the Santiago Bernabéu. Conversely, his Bayern Munich teammate Dayot Upamecano is actively working to persuade him to stay in Germany.

Olise joined the Bundesliga side in 2024 for a reported fee of £50 million. Given that he still has three years remaining on his current contract, Real Madrid would likely need to provide a substantial financial offer to secure the midfielder’s services.
