Zamfara Police Arrest Suspected Terrorist Informant

A vigilante group in Zamfara state known as Askarawa has apprehended an informant, Hamisu Abdullahi, who helped bandits to coordinate attacks.  

It was gathered that he was arrested on Monday, May 13, 2024, in Kabrawa under the Farfaru emirate in Maru Local Government Area of the state and handed over to the security. Intelligence sources told security analyst, Zagazola Makama, that Hamisu’s spying activities and that of his accomplices were responsible for the attacks on troops and towns in Maru and other LGA in Zamfara state.
