Nigerian recording artist Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, widely known as Vector Tha Viper, shared that he first crossed paths with his spouse, Yinka Coker, at a nightclub. During a guest appearance on the MENtality podcast hosted by Banky W and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Vector pushed back against the common assumption that women who frequent clubs do not make suitable marriage partners. He described his wife as exceptionally domestic and grounded.
Vector explained that people should avoid strictly adhering to societal norms or unsolicited guidance when selecting a spouse. He recounted that his initial interest in Yinka sparked because she was rapping along to Heavy D. He argued that while good advice is valuable, individuals must ultimately choose a partner based on their own judgment rather than broad generalizations. The couple entered a civil marriage in December 2022 and currently share one daughter.
