Justin Bieber added to 2026 Fifa World Cup final half-time show lineup

Justin Bieber will join an ensemble cast including Madonna, Shakira, and BTS for the first-ever Super Bowl-style half-time show at the 2026 World Cup final in New York.

Pop artist Justin Bieber is the latest addition to the lineup of major musical acts scheduled to perform at the 2026 World Cup final in New York. The Canadian singer will join Madonna, Shakira, and BTS on July 19 for the event’s inaugural half-time spectacle, modeled after the Super Bowl format.

The 11-minute performance will also feature appearances by Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel, the PS22 Chorus with Coldplay, and the Sesame Street muppets. The event, curated by Chris Martin, aims to generate funding for the Fifa Global Citizen Education Fund, which seeks to secure $100 million for children globally. Regarding his participation, Bieber remarked that the World Cup possesses a unique ability to unite the world.

This performance follows Bieber’s return to the stage earlier this spring at California’s Coachella festival, marking his largest live appearance in four years. The 32-year-old previously canceled his Justice world tour due to health challenges. Furthermore, Shakira and Burna Boy, who were part of the tournament’s opening ceremonies, are set to reunite on stage to perform their chart-topping collaboration, Dai Dai.
