Reports from the Associated Press indicate that officials located Adams’ body on Saturday at a residence in the Schotsche Kloof district of Cape Town. Police have confirmed the initiation of an inquest, though a formal cause of death is not yet known. The victim’s father, Juanito Adams, noted that the family is waiting for autopsy results before they can plan any memorial services, noting that the loss is deeply difficult for his loved ones.
During the 2026 World Cup, the midfielder participated in all three group-stage games, playing a vital role in South Africa’s advancement.
