The Nationwide League One (NLO) has officially designated the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba as the venue for its 2026 promotion playoffs covering the South-South and South-East regions. The tournament is scheduled to take place between Wednesday, July 29th, and Sunday, August 2nd.
Dr. Olushola Ogunnowo, the league’s Chief Operating Officer, announced the decision via a formal communique released on Thursday. He called upon the Abia State Football Association to facilitate a well-managed and competitive event. These five-day playoffs will proceed simultaneously within the assigned regions.
Organizers have emphasized a strict stance regarding discipline, mandating punctuality and the presentation of valid player licenses. This update follows the recent promotion of Mighty Jets Feeders FC, Neurospark FC, DMD FC, and Junior Danburam FC to the Nigeria National League after their successful Northern playoff campaigns.
