A family is grieving after the tragic discovery of Nothabo Zandile Tshuma and her two children, Natalie, 15, and Nala, five, at their home in Great Denham, near Bedford. Officers broke into the residence on Monday following reports that the family had not been seen for several days.
In a formal statement, the family shared their profound sadness and expressed appreciation for the community support and prayers received during this difficult time. They noted that an official investigation is currently underway and asked for privacy while they wait for further guidance on funeral arrangements.
Bedfordshire Police are actively searching for 45-year-old Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, also known as Mark, who is a person of interest in the case. Detectives confirmed that he departed the country from Heathrow Airport on Saturday using a British passport and is currently believed to be in Zimbabwe. Detective Inspector Lee Martin has directly urged him to surrender to authorities, emphasizing that the investigation is a high priority and transcends international borders.
