The official clarified that any new US military aggression would prompt a retaliatory closure of the Strait, a passage essential for global oil shipments. Simultaneously, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi criticized recent comments from President Donald Trump, who hinted at potential upcoming strikes against the nation.
Araghchi took to social media to push back against Trump’s rhetoric, characterizing the Iranian public as resilient and cultured. He emphasized that Iran would respond to provocation with decisive action rather than engaging in verbal hostility. These threats have deepened global concerns regarding energy security and the possibility of a broader conflict in the Middle East.
