Operation Hadin Kai Forces Repel Attack on Borno Base and Rescue Abductees

Operation Hadin Kai forces successfully repelled an ISWAP attack in Borno State and continued regional counter-insurgency efforts, resulting in the rescue of abductees and the disruption of terrorist supply lines.

The Joint Task Force North East, Operation Hadin Kai, successfully neutralized an insurgent assault on its Forward Operating Base in Logomani village, Ngala, Borno State. Despite the defensive victory, the military reported the loss of one soldier and damage to two gun trucks and various combat assets. The situation is currently stable, with reinforcements securing the perimeter.

Captain Mohammed Goni, the acting media officer, announced that troops are maintaining aggressive momentum across the North East. In Askira/Uba, the 115 Task Force Battalion liberated two captives and recovered over 1.2 million Naira along with logistical supplies. The victims are currently receiving medical and psychological care.

Military operations have expanded significantly across the region. In Gombi, Adamawa, the 232 Battalion captured a criminal and seized an AK-47, while the 149 Battalion detained two suspected logistics suppliers in Mobbar. Furthermore, soldiers in Wulgo confiscated illicit drugs after clearing terrorist encampments, and six ISWAP fighters surrendered to the 192 Battalion alongside their families.

Security forces continue to tighten the net on insurgent support networks by arresting unauthorized suppliers of fuel, medical, and construction items at checkpoints. The Theatre Command has issued a strong warning that anyone facilitating terrorist activities will face full legal prosecution. Authorities remain committed to continuing rescue missions until all kidnapped individuals are safely home.
