Gunmen Abduct PDP Chieftain Akika in Oyo
Benedict Akika, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, has been abducted.
On the night of Wednesday, September 4, suspected gunmen forcibly entered Akika’s residence in Olorunda, Lagelu Local Government Area. The armed assailants threatened to shoot anyone who attempted to resist their actions. According to family sources, Akika was with his family at the time of the attack.
The state police command has not yet issued a statement regarding the incident.
