Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has praised the Nigerian Army for its success in curbing pipeline vandalism and illegal oil theft. He noted that these military interventions have led to a noticeable rise in crude oil production and boosted the nation’s financial health.
The governor spoke during a courtesy visit by the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, at the Government House in Port Harcourt on Friday.
