Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, recently asserted that President Bola Tinubu has surpassed all previous Nigerian leaders regarding infrastructure development over the past three years. Wike expressed his support for Senate President Godswill Akpabio, who had previously noted that Tinubu’s administration has completed more road projects in Abuja and its surrounding areas than any prior president.
While inaugurating access roads at the Renewed Hope Cities and estates in Karsana West, Abuja, Wike addressed public criticism directed at Akpabio’s statements. He emphasized that the Senate President’s remarks were accurate, specifically highlighting the transformation of previously unknown districts like Karsana through targeted infrastructure investment. According to Wike, satellite towns are currently experiencing a level of governance and development that was unseen in the past. He urged Akpabio to remain steadfast in his position, promising that their administration would substantiate these claims through ongoing tangible projects.
