Longtime Nollywood performer Hanks Anuku has addressed a recent video that showed him acting in an unsettled manner on the street. The actor has asked the public to stop focusing on his private life and instead turn their attention to national issues.
The circulating video depicts the actor in a black shirt and jeans, appearing unfocused and muttering to himself as bystanders recorded the scene and expressed concern for his well-being. In a subsequent response, Anuku rejected the narrative that he is unwell. He firmly stated, “I am good,” while criticizing the public for obsessing over his personal situation rather than pressing the government for improvement.
This is not the first time Anuku has been the subject of such speculation. A similar video appeared in 2022, which showed him appearing disheveled. At that time, the actor clarified that the footage was actually taken during a film production and accused critics of intentionally attempting to damage his reputation.
