Etsu Kwali Praises Tinubu and Wike for New Gomani-Dafa-Yangoji Road

The Etsu Kwali, Luka Nizassan III, has hailed the completion of the Gomani-Dafa-Yangoji road, citing its role in boosting local security, economic productivity, and agricultural transport.

Luka Nizassan III, the Etsu Kwali, has praised the completion of the Gomani-Dafa-Yangoji Road in the Federal Capital Territory’s Kwali Area Council, calling it a significant infrastructure achievement. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony in Dafa on Tuesday, the traditional ruler stated that the project fulfills a long-standing request from his community.

He expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for addressing the local residents’ concerns. Nizassan highlighted the historical importance of the route, noting that it dates back to the colonial era as a primary transit path for the old Abuja Emirate. Despite its historical relevance, the road had endured years of abandonment until the current administration’s intervention.

The monarch emphasized that the upgraded road is expected to bolster local security and economic growth. Previously, poor conditions hindered security patrols, but improved access is now expected to deter criminal activity. Furthermore, as an agrarian region, the community will see improved efficiency in transporting farm produce to urban centers across the Yangoji, Dafa, Gomani, and Pai wards.

Nizassan encouraged his people to remain supportive of President Tinubu’s administration, framing governance as a mutual commitment between the state and its citizens. Looking toward the future, the Etsu expressed confidence that the FCT minister will continue delivering on other key development pledges, including expanding access to clean water and enhancing local educational infrastructure.
