Rangers to sign Pandur as Butland nears Hull exit

Rangers close in on £6m move for Hull City keeper Ivor Pandur, with Jack Butland set to depart for the Premier League, alongside various transfer updates from across the Scottish Premiership.

Rangers are moving to secure Hull City goalkeeper Ivor Pandur in a deal worth £6 million, while Jack Butland is expected to head to the Premier League side for £3 million. Pandur has already undergone a medical while attending international duty with Croatia. The transaction is designed to help Hull City align with financial regulations.

Elsewhere in Scotland, Dundee United have accepted a £1.8 million offer from a Czech club for Will Ferry, despite interest from Blackburn Rovers and Charlton Athletic. Meanwhile, Motherwell has turned down multiple seven-figure bids from Samsunspor for midfielder Elliot Watt, holding out for a higher valuation. Aberdeen remains busy, rejecting several low offers for Topi Keskinen while nearing an agreement to sell right-back Alexander Jensen to Elfsborg for approximately £500,000.

Additional movement involves St Johnstone looking to secure goalkeeper Toby Steward on a second loan from Portsmouth. Furthermore, former Inverness manager Duncan Ferguson has expressed interest in the Scotland head coach position currently held by Steve Clarke. Finally, Rangers goalkeeping coach Sal Bibbo is departing to join Frank Lampard’s staff at Coventry City.
