Nigerian musician Speed Darlington, also known as Akpi, has shared his personal struggle regarding his lack of a spouse and children as he nears his 60th birthday. In a recent video, the rapper admitted that his professional accomplishments feel incomplete because he lacks a family.
Speed Darlington emphasized that possessing American citizenship is not enough to satisfy his life goals. He stated he is searching for a partner and a sense of belonging. The singer noted that simply living abroad is insufficient, as he now prioritizes having a family, personal freedom, and respect.
This is not the first time the entertainer has spoken about his desire for marriage. Years ago, he publicly detailed his search for a bride, outlining specific criteria such as a height of at least 5 feet 8 inches, a weight under 150 pounds, and fluency in English and Igbo. He also specified that he was looking for a partner between 18 and 23 years of age. Despite sharing these expectations publicly, he has not yet found a suitable partner.
