England Secures Spot in World Cup Round of 32

England has qualified for the World Cup knockout rounds following Spain’s win over Uruguay, despite lingering injury concerns for Reece James and Declan Rice.

England has officially advanced to the knockout stages of the World Cup ahead of their concluding group match against Panama this Saturday. With four points secured from their initial two fixtures, the team is certain to finish as one of the best third-placed squads.

The qualification became a reality following Spain’s victory over Uruguay on Saturday. Previously, England launched their campaign with a 4-2 victory over Croatia, followed by a 0-0 stalemate against Ghana.

Injury concerns persist for manager Thomas Tuchel. Reece James, 26, is ruled out of the upcoming match due to a hamstring injury sustained against Ghana. Additionally, Declan Rice did not participate in Thursday’s training session at the Kansas City facility after appearing to have a calf issue earlier in the week.
