Real Madrid boasts a roster filled with international stars, including Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Antonio Rudiger. Since many of these athletes are expected to advance deep into the tournament, the manager is concerned he will not have enough time to prepare his team properly for the upcoming season.
Mourinho explicitly stated his preference, noting that he wants the Madrid players to return to him in July for preseason sessions.
