APC Leader Obidike Affirms Tinubu’s Presidency for 2027

APC chieftain Obidike Chukwuebuka insists that President Bola Tinubu has earned his position and that the presidency will remain unchanged in 2027 due to his ongoing economic and infrastructure reforms.

Chief Obidike Chukwuebuka, a key figure in the All Progressives Congress, claims the presidency remains firmly occupied by President Bola Tinubu. Addressing the media, the Clarivo Oil & Gas Limited CEO asserted that there is no room for competition in the upcoming 2027 election cycle.

Obidike criticized opposition groups for ignoring the structural reforms implemented since the administration took power amidst a struggling economy. He defended the government’s difficult policy shifts, arguing they were essential for securing public finances and ensuring sustainable future growth. Specifically, he pointed to rising state allocations, bolstered investor confidence, and improved foreign exchange policies as clear signs of progress.

The APC chieftain emphasized that Nigeria has shifted toward a favorable trade balance, exporting more than it imports. He also highlighted welfare successes, noting that the Conditional Cash Transfer initiative has distributed over N400 billion to eight million families. Furthermore, the Nigerian Education Loan Fund was lauded for making higher education more accessible to students without the burden of interest.

Addressing infrastructure and labor relations, Obidike praised the stability in public universities, noting an absence of nationwide strikes since May 2023. He cited major ongoing transportation projects, such as the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and modernized seaport developments, as evidence of the administration’s commitment to modernization. He concluded by urging citizens to continue backing the government’s vision, expressing belief that these current sacrifices will yield significant long-term advantages.
