Nigerian musical icon Davido has officially revealed his comeback track, ‘I Know Who I Be’, ending a brief hiatus from his solo discography. This upcoming record, which includes collaborations with Jazzwrld and GL_Ceejay, is slated for a June 26 launch.
Known by his birth name David Adeleke, the superstar gained significant prominence in 2012 following the success of ‘Dami Duro’. Since then, he established DMW, a label responsible for launching multiple prominent careers. Davido shared the news via his X account this Monday, signaling a new chapter by stating the path to the throne is underway.
This update surprised many followers, especially after the artist mentioned in May that he intended to step away from recording for a while. His previous independent release, ‘Be There Still’, arrived in March 2025. Recently, the Afrobeats figure gained further international exposure by headlining the 2026 FIFA World Cup countdown concert in Los Angeles. Given his extensive discography including ‘Timeless’ and ‘A Better Time’, listeners are anticipating his latest release with high expectations.
