Fintech provider OPay inaugurated its latest office in Kaduna State on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. This expansion underscores the firm’s pledge to increase the availability of safe and accessible financial tools throughout Nigeria. The opening ceremony was attended by OPay executives alongside local business figures and community representatives.
This new facility serves as a central point for merchant assistance, customer relations, and business partnerships in the region. By establishing a permanent physical presence in Kaduna, OPay aims to foster economic development and provide tailored support to the area’s entrepreneurs and small business owners.
Dotun Adekunle, Chief Operating and Technology Officer at OPay, noted that the move represents a long-term investment in the region. He emphasized that the company remains focused on building trust, enhancing security, and advancing financial inclusion for underserved populations. OPay, which launched in 2018, continues to offer a suite of digital banking services, including transfers, bill payments, and merchant solutions, all while operating under licenses from the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
