Electrician Detained For Allegedly Raping 2-Year-Old In Rivers
The Rivers State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), in Port Harcourt has arrested a 45-year-old man simply identified as Udohika for allegedly defiling a 2 year-old girl at Gada Street, Ogbumnabali, Port Harcourt.
The technician is said to have lured the infant into his shop and allegedly def!ling her. The father of the little girl became aware of his little daughter’s situation while bathing her, as she cried uncontrollably that her private part was paining her.
The father said out of curiosity, he asked his daughter what led to the pain and to his surprise, the little girl not only explained what happened to her but also demonstrated how the suspect allegedly touched and rob her v@gina in his shop when nobody was around.
The child also took her father to the shop where she was allegedly def!led which is located in front of the girl’s compound.
Irked by the development, the father of the girl whose wife died giving while giving back to the two year old, lodged a complaint at the Old GRA Police Division and the officers on ground immediately moved and arrested the suspect.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, said the suspect has been transferred to State CIID, Port Harcourt for discreet investigation and possible prosecution.
