Conductor Crushed To Death As Truck Falls In Anambra
The conductor of a commercial vehicle was killed after a truck fell and crushed him at Tanza by Ifeanyichukwu Motors, along Nteje-Awka-Onitsha Expressway in Anambra State.
The crash occurred at about 4:30 pm on Thursday, July 4.
The driver of a commercial Mercedes Actros truck with registration number WKR824XA lost control after the tyre of the truck burst.
As a result, the truck fell on the road.

The acting Sector Public Education Officer of the Anambra State command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Margaret Onabe, confirmed the incident.
She said two male adults were involved in the crash.
Onabe said while one male adult sustained injury, one male adult was killed.
She said, “The probable cause of the fatal road traffic crash was a tyre burst. According to eyewitnesses, the driver lost control as a result of a tyre burst and fell on the road.
“Two male adults were involved in the crash. One male adult sustained injury while one male adult was killed.
“Before the arrival of the FRSC rescue team from RS5.3 Nteje, Ogidi Police Division personnel had taken the killed victim to the morgue.”
