Security Forces Apprehend Alleged Boko Haram Collaborator in Borno State
Acting on precise human intelligence, troops from Operation Hadin Kai successfully captured a suspected informant for the Boko Haram terrorist group in the Kaga Local Government Area.
The operation was a joint effort between the 29 Task Force Brigade and the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), resulting in the arrest of an individual identified as Bulama Modu. The suspect was intercepted at approximately 9:10 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026, in Shauri village, located within the Mainok axis of Borno State.
During the arrest, security personnel seized several items from the suspect, including a mobile phone, various charms, and a small amount of cash totaling ₦5,700.
Both the individual and the confiscated evidence are currently being held for extensive questioning as authorities work to map out and neutralize clandestine networks that provide logistical support and information to insurgents.
This arrest is part of an intensified regional strategy by the Nigerian military to dismantle the infrastructure of terrorism in the North-East. By targeting collaborators and informants, security agencies aim to disrupt the operational flow of insurgent groups and enhance the overall safety of local communities.
