Adamawa man apprehended for the murder of his father

A 40-year-old man, Peter Sinamai, has been arrested in Adamawa State for allegedly murdering his father and discarding the body in a well.

Authorities in Adamawa State have taken a man into custody for the murder of his father, whose body was discovered inside a well. Police identified the suspect as 40-year-old Peter Sinamai, a resident of Sangere in the Gombi Local Government Area.

Law enforcement officials were alerted to the crime, leading to the prompt arrest of the suspect. According to the police spokesperson, SP Suleiman Nguroje, initial findings indicate that the suspect killed his father before disposing of the remains in a nearby well. The body has since been retrieved and transferred to a mortuary to undergo an autopsy.

Commissioner of Police Kabiru Umar Hassan has directed a comprehensive investigation to clarify the details of the incident. SP Nguroje confirmed that legal proceedings against the suspect will commence once the investigation concludes.
