Police Probe Death Of Security Guard Found Lifeless At Workplace In Osun
The Osun State Police Command has launched an investigation into the mysterious death of a security guard, Basiru Aminu, whose body was discovered at his workplace in the Oke Ola area of Igbaye, Osun State. Nyx joi According to reports, Aminu’s lifeless body was found around 7 a.m. on Tuesday by residents, who promptly alerted the police. Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abiodun Ojelabi, said officers found no visible signs of violence on the deceased. “It was a sudden and natural death. The incident occurred at Oke-Ola in Igbaye. The man, identified as Basiru Aminu, was a security guard,” Ojelabi said. “One Fasasi Adebowale informed the deceased’s brother of the situation. Police officers visited the scene but did not observe any marks of violence. Nonetheless, investigations are ongoing, and an autopsy may be conducted.”
The discovery caused tension in the community, with residents speculating about the cause of Aminu’s death. While some locals suspected foul play, others suggested he might have suffered a sudden health emergency. A resident, identified as Risikat, described the deceased as well-known in the area and expressed hope that the police investigation would uncover the truth. “It could be a health issue, but the probe will reveal what really happened,” she said.
