The Super Falcons of Nigeria have officially booked their place at the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), set to hold in Morocco in 2026, extending their remarkable run of qualifications to 16 consecutive tournaments.

The reigning African champions sealed their spot after a dominant display across two legs against Benin Republic. Following a 2–0 away victory in Cotonou, the Falcons held their opponents to a 1–1 draw in Abeokuta on Tuesday, October 28, completing a 3–1 aggregate triumph.

The result ensures Nigeria—ten-time WAFCON champions—maintains its unbroken streak as the only nation to have qualified for every edition of the competition since its inception.

With the qualification, the Super Falcons join hosts Morocco as the first two teams confirmed for next year’s continental showpiece, where they will aim to defend their title and further cement their dominance in African women’s football.
