Mob Kills Two Suspected Motorcycle Thieves In Makurdi
Two suspected motorcycle thieves have been lynched by a mob in Makurdi, Benue State.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in the Judges’ Quarters area of the city, where the suspects were allegedly caught attempting to steal a bike.
Eyewitnesses said local youths, commonly referred to as “area boys,” chased down the suspects and attacked them before security operatives could arrive.
As of the time of filing this report, police authorities had not released an official statement on the incident.
