Ex-WWE Chief Vince McMahon Caught In Multi-Vehicle Crash In Connecticut
Vince McMahon, the former WWE chairman and controversial wrestling mogul, was involved in a three-car accident last Thursday on Route 15 near Exit 41 in Westport, Connecticut.
Connecticut State Police reported that McMahon rear-ended another vehicle, causing his car to swerve into a wooden guardrail. Debris from the collision struck a third vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries were recorded.
McMahon, 78, was cited for reckless driving and following too closely both misdemeanors under Connecticut law. He was released after posting bond and is due in court on August 26. The address he provided to police reportedly corresponds with the former WWE headquarters.
The incident comes amid ongoing scrutiny over past misconduct allegations, which led to McMahon stepping away from WWE leadership. As WWE now operates under the TKO Group following its merger with UFC, McMahon’s legacy remains under a cloud. Neither he nor his representatives have commented publicly on the crash.
