PSG Star Fabian Ruiz’s House Burgled After Winning Champions League As Police Arrest Two Minors Caught ‘Red-Handed’
Paris Saint-Germain star Fabian Ruiz’s house was burglarized while he was celebrating his team’s historic Champions League win over the weekend.
Early Monday morning, two suspects broke into the 29-year-old’s home as players and fans continued to celebrate in the streets.
After the alarm was triggered, police were called and quickly arrived at the scene, arresting two minors at the property.
Ruiz had returned to Paris with the team for a victory parade on Sunday, but just one day later, his home was targeted by burglars.
A police source told Le Parisien: ‘We found the player’s home in total disorder.
‘The two minors had rummaged through every room before we caught them red-handed.’
The incident occurred amid unrest in the French capital following PSG’s European triumph on Saturday night.
During widespread violence across the country, a teenager was fatally stabbed, and 426 people were arrested.
Police reported riots and looting as the club defeated Inter Milan in the Champions League final held in Munich, Germany.
One of the most serious incidents happened in Dax, in southwestern France, where a 17-year-old was stabbed in the stomach.
