Bayer Leverkusen Set €50m Price Tag for Boniface Transfer
Former Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen are set to demand €50 million to sell Victor Boniface this summer.
Die Werkself plan to sell the Nigerian international to finance new signings after the departure of their former head coach, Xabi Alonso, to Real Madrid.
Boniface was nearly transferred to Saudi Professional League club Al Nassr for €70 million in January.
However, Al Nassr later chose to sign Jhon Duran from Aston Villa instead.
Boniface faced challenges with consistency throughout the 2024/25 season due to recurring injuries.
The 24-year-old managed to score 11 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions for Leverkusen during the season.
He joined Die Werkself in 2023 from Belgian Pro League club Union Saint-Gilloise.
