23-Year-Old Woman Stabs Boyfriend In Kaduna Over Alleged Cheating
A 23-year-old woman, Abigail Victor, was arraigned on Wednesday before a Kaduna Magistrate’s Court by the Nigeria Police for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend during a domestic altercation over alleged infidelity. Abigail, a resident of Ungwan Sunday in Kaduna State, faces a two-count charge of conspiracy and causing bodily harm. The Prosecutor, Inspector Chidi Leo, informed the court that the incident took place on May 17, 2025, in the Sabon Tasha area of Kaduna. He said Abigail confronted her boyfriend, Dominic James, and accused him of cheating, which led to the altercation. “In anger, she reportedly called two friends who joined her at the complainant’s residence, where they allegedly beat him and st@bbed him in the shoulder with a knife,” Leo said. The prosecutor added that neighbours intervened and rushed the injured Dominic to the hospital for treatment. He stated that the offences are contrary to Sections 58 and 284 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law, 2017. Section 58 prescribes a one-year prison sentence on conviction for conspiracy, while Section 284 carries a minimum of five years imprisonment for causing injury. Abigail pleaded not guilty to the charges. Magistrate Ibrahim Emmanuel granted her bail in the sum of N200,000 with one surety in the same amount. The court ordered that the surety must be a blood relative and provide evidence of three years of tax clearance from the Kaduna State Government. Magistrate Emmanuel adjourned the case to June 17, 2025, for hearing. yourqueenxo21 joell perry nude Angel
