Woman Allegedly Kills Sister With Machete, Attempts To Murder Mother And Niece In Enugu Community

A tragic incident has unfolded in the Aji community of Enugu-Ezike, Igbo Eze North Local Government Area, Enugu State, where a woman allegedly killed her younger sister with a cutlass.

Reports indicate that the suspect, whose identity remains undisclosed, also attempted to harm her mother and her late sister’s child. Both victims have been rushed to Bishop Shanahan Hospital in Nsukka, where they are currently fighting for their lives.

Enugu media personality Chijinkem Ugwuanyi shared a video of the suspect on Facebook on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. In the footage, the woman claimed she was possessed by a strange spirit, which compelled her to commit the horrific act.
