Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has guaranteed residents that the current government will not leave any public works unfinished. Following inspections of the divided highway connecting Nile University to Ring Road III and the Arterial Road N1 development, the Minister reaffirmed his commitment to this policy.
Wike stated that President Bola Tinubu’s administration is dedicated to resolving the history of stalled projects in Abuja. According to the Minister, the government is systematically finishing infrastructure initiatives that date back to 2010. He emphasized a strict zero-tolerance stance toward abandoned construction, aiming to finalize most active projects by December.
Additionally, Wike confirmed that the N20 bridge construction over the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Expressway is moving toward completion. He urged the public to remain patient, noting that both legacy projects and new developments under this administration are being prioritized. The Minister also expressed his satisfaction with the work quality demonstrated by the current contractors.
