A barber known as Emeka was taken into custody by the Abia State Police Command in Umuahia. Authorities discovered a clay pot packed with human hair inside his residence after a neighbor, Johnson Ikenga, reported the suspect for making threats.
During the search of his apartment, officers recovered the hair-filled pot alongside several other occult objects. While the suspect admitted the items were his during questioning, he failed to provide any justification for possessing them or reveal the origin of the hair.
Local residents have expressed concerns that the hair may have been harvested from the barber’s own clients. While the Abia State Police Command has yet to release a formal statement, the suspect is currently being held at the Central Police Station in Umuahia for further inquiry.
