Troops Capture Kidnap Kingpin In Kano
Troops of the Joint Task Force, Tundun Wada, have apprehended a notorious suspected kidnapper in the Tundun Wada Local Government Area of Kano State. According to Capt. Babatunde Zubairu, Assistant Director of Army Public Relations for the 3 Brigade, the suspect, aged 55, was arrested on April 20 during a security operation in Sumana village. The suspect was paraded before Brig.-Gen. Ahmed Tukur, the Brigade Commander, who had visited the Forward Operating Base (FOB) Falgore in Doguwa LGA to celebrate the Easter festival with the troops. During the operation, a cache of weapons and critical items were seized, including one fabricated AK-47 rifle, one Den gun, nine rounds of 9mm pistol ammunition, one woodland camouflage uniform, one desert camouflage vest, a woodland camouflage vest, and a Bajaj motorcycle seat likely used for concealing weapons. Brig.-Gen. melimtx nude Tukur commended the troops for their professionalism and courage, reaffirming the commitment of the Nigerian Army and other security agencies to collaborate with local authorities to restore peace in the region. The statement also mentioned that the suspect is currently in custody and undergoing preliminary investigation.
