Timi Frank Labels Tinubu Administration Corrupt Amid 2026 Budget Scandal

Former APC official Timi Frank claims the Tinubu administration is linked to corruption following suspicious financial allocations in the 2026 budget proposal.

Timi Frank, who previously served as the Deputy National Publicity Secretary for the All Progressives Congress, has publicly claimed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership is effectively tied to fraudulent activities. This accusation follows mounting concerns regarding suspicious spending plans within the 2026 budget proposal.

The controversy stems from specific concerns highlighted by ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, who pointed to a 12.8 trillion naira Service Wide Vote, 8 billion naira assigned to religious institutions, and a questionable 1.3 billion naira allocation for a entity called the Foreign Intervention Promotion Council.

In his Wednesday statement, Frank suggested these ongoing fiscal disputes are destroying citizen trust. He argued that the current administration fosters a culture where corruption flourishes instead of enforcing transparency or penalizing officials for financial misconduct. Frank further stated that by failing to investigate these irregularities, the government encourages a belief among public officials that they can spend state resources without facing any repercussions.
