Authorities in Ogun State have apprehended three individuals, one of whom previously worked as a security guard, in connection to the homicide of former Ogun State Television journalist Olakitan Oyesiku and her employee Pelumi Adetayo.

Bode Ojajuni, the state Commissioner of Police, announced the arrests during a briefing in Abeokuta this Thursday. He noted that detectives utilized forensic analysis, intelligence gathering, and technical tracking to identify the suspects.

The bodies were discovered at Oyesiku’s Owode-Egba home on June 21, at which time her Lexus RX 330 was missing.
