Seriake Dickson Vows NDC Will Overcome Federal Power in 2027

Seriake Dickson, the National Chairman of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed confidence that his party will overcome federal influence in the upcoming 2027 general elections. The former Bayelsa State governor emphasized that the party is prepared to ensure the integrity of the voting process.

Sharing his stance on X, Dickson stated that he would not permit the use of security personnel or armed groups to harass voters. He stressed that the will of the electorate must remain the deciding factor in the country’s leadership. He urged supporters to remain alert against any attempts to suppress or manipulate the democratic process.

Dickson reminded followers of past successes in contesting against federal dominance, stating he would lead the effort personally. The NDC is set to contest the 2027 race with Peter Obi as the party’s presidential flagbearer.
